I have always wanted to become a teacher ever since I was in kindergarten. Growing up in the Bay Area, I would “play teacher” and tutor others any chance I could get. I later received my Bachelor of Arts in sociology and my Masters of Education from Stanford. 3rd grade was one of my favorite grades growing up due to the supportive, engaging, and adventurous classroom community my teacher had created. I came to love 3rd grade even more through my student-teaching experience, where I consistently got to see the joy of learning through my students’ eyes. I am passionate about helping every student become confident and empowered individuals. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, baking, doing puzzles, traveling and playing with my two dogs. I look forward to getting to know the Springer community!
